Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you submit a trip inquiry, we collect: your name, email, phone number (optional), trip preferences (destination, dates, group size, skill level, priorities, budget), and any notes you provide. When you book a trip, we also collect billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).

We also log anonymous usage data (page views, AI trip planner requests) to improve the service.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and plan your trip
• To book services with third-party vendors on your behalf (lodging, bike rentals, shuttles, etc.) — we share your name and relevant details only as needed to complete bookings
• To send you trip documents and updates via email
• To process payments via Stripe
• To improve our service and AI recommendations

Sharing

We share your information with:

• Third-party vendors (bike shops, shuttle operators, lodging) as required to book your trip
• Stripe for payment processing
• Resend for email delivery
• Claude (Anthropic) to generate AI itinerary drafts — your trip parameters are sent but not used for model training

We do not sell your information. We do not share your info with advertisers.

Retention

We keep trip inquiries and bookings for 7 years for tax and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your non-required data by emailing concierge@trailsendr.com.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion (subject to retention requirements). California, Colorado, and other state residents have specific rights under applicable privacy laws.
